Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson has announced a world tour and it’s coming to our neck of the woods.
The Final Lap Tour will celebrate the 20th anniversary of the rapper’s game-changing debut album, Get Rich or Die Tryin’.
It kicks off in Utah on July 21 and will wind its way through North America throughout the summer before stopping at Rogers Arena in Vancouver on Friday, Sept. 8.
The tour will stop in Seattle the day before, as well as Calgary and Edmonton following the Vancouver date, so there are plenty of options to travel and see the show.
The tour will ship off to Europe after the North American dates wrap up in September.
It won’t just be 50 Cent either, as he’s bringing along a pair of big names in Busta Rhymes and Jeremih as his opening acts.
“Recognized as one of the most talented and prolific music artists of his time, 50 Cent rose to fame with his record-shattering debut album, Get Rich or Die Tryin',” says a release from show promoter Live Nation.
“Since then, he has sold more than 30 million albums worldwide and has been awarded the most prestigious accolades.”
The Final Lap Tour will use Verified Fan in an effort to keep tickets out of the hands of mass resellers and scalpers.
Fans in North American can register for the Verified Fan presale link through Sunday, May 7, and tickets will go on sale to those who do on Wednesday, May 10.
The remaining tickets will go on general sale at 10 am on Friday, May 12.
